There are a lot of premium options to choose from among different brands when it comes to Chrome OS. Where aside from Lenovo almost every other brand does offer a premium Chromebook of their own. Now Lenovo has finally announced their new Lenovo Flex 11 Chromebook. Which like its other laptops also offers a 2-in-1 design. That can also rotate a full 360 degrees. This makes for a very good experience when it comes to handling the 11.6 inch display present on the device. Which can be used both ways, either in laptop mode or tablet mode.
Currently Chromebooks are mostly used by students, because of their affordable price range. This is where the new Lenovo Flex 11 shines. As the Chromebook comes with a rugged built. Where the company also claims that their new Chromebook can survive a drop of up to 2.4 feet. Water resistance is also there and an accidental cup spill shouldn’t be an issue for the Lenovo Flex 11.
In terms of specs the Lenovo Flex 11 comes with average hardware. Where the Chromebook is equipped with an ARM processor. That is clocked in at 2.1 GHz. Aside from that the Chromebook also comes with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage built in. Where in terms of ports the Lenovo Flex 11 comes with a single USB Type-C port. It would have been nice to see at least an Intel processors and expandable storage like other good quality Chromebooks have on the market. Aside from that a better resolution on the 11.6 inch display would also have been better. Which is only limited to 1366 x 768.
We won’t complain much as with the rotatable screen and durable build quality. The Lenovo Flex still comes under a price of $279. Which is still cheaper than most of the budget Chromebooks out there. Where in the budget area Lenovo is offering a quality product.
