LG G5 was expectedly a pleasant entry in the market in 2016, but its modular design approach failed it completely. Its sell was reportedly so less that some LG employees had to be fired in South Korea.
The company is now planning to launch G5’s successor in the start of the next year, and according to a report, LG might avoid using modular design anymore. To increase the gossips, the leak of an alleged render of the smartphone has opened mouths of various critics.
According to the video, leaked by Shai Mizrachi, who often leaks flagships from Samsung and LG, the company appears to have taken various design features from its early version G5.
Although much is not known so far, it can be seen that G6 will be a bit slimmer than G5. Moreover, it has dual-camera setup and a fingerprint scanner.
Its back resembles V20. It is guessed that G6 might have borrowed high-fidelity audio input and output from V20.
G6 is further expected to have 5.2-5.5 inch display, a high-end Snapdragon 821 or 835 chipset, 4GB or 6GB of RAM options with 64GB of expandable storage.
Fingers crossed for a successful entry this time!
