The recently announced Dell Kaby Lake G convertible notebook is now available for pre-order. This new notebook from Dell will be based on Intel’s 8th generation Core processors, that also comes coupled with Radeon RX Vega M graphics. The base model of the Dell XPS 15 inch convertible start at $1499.
With the Radeon RX Vega graphics powering these notebooks, Dell will also be offering some unique features to go along with it. These features include a new cooling system and a full size Maglev keyboard that also comes with back-lighting.
Dell will be offering four different models in its new 15 inch 2 in 1 convertibles. Which start from the base model priced at $1499. This SKU from dell comes equipped with a 15.6 inch display that support a resolution of 1920 x 1080. There is also the Intel Core i5 8305G running under the hood, coupled with a lower Radeon RX Vega M GL graphics. Aside from that the notebook also offers 8GB of DDR4 Ram clocked at 2400MHz with 256GB of on board storage.
The second SKU from Dell would cost you around $2,199, which also comes equipped with a 15.6 inch display. But here the resolution is much higher supporting a 4k/UHD touchscreen. Running under the hood is an Intel Core i7 8705G processor, coupled with the higher Radeon RX Vega M GL graphics and 16GB of DDR4 RAM. The only thing that can be configured by users is the amount of storage. Which can go as high as 1TB PCIe SSD. That would set you back an additional $550, while jumping from Windows 10 Home to Windows 10 Pro would also add an extra $60. Users who are interesting can pre-order one right now from Dell’s website. Though as far as shipping goes, it’s expected to arrive this month.
