The $1000 price tag of the new iPhone X does put it out of the hands of a lot of people. But considering what the smartphone costs in other parts of the world. We shouldn’t be complaining how expensive it really is. As in Russia the new Apple iPhone X costs around $1380.
There are a lot of factors that play a part in the price difference around the globe. Which mainly includes sales tax, currency value and import fees. Where even US citizen have to pay up to 9 percent above the total cost of a device due to state tax. So then how expensive is the new Apple iPhone X around the world? Well according to Deutsche Bank ranking the top three countries include Russia, Poland and Italy.
- Russia: $1,380 for 64GB, or $1,590 for 256GB
- Poland: $1,385 for 64GB, or $1,595 for 256GB
- Italy: $1,416 for 64GB, or $1,620 for 256GB
Europe will also get affected due to the devaluation of their currency. Where people who are interested in getting the new iPhone X, should expect to pay £999 for the 64GB version. While the 256GB version would set you back £1149. That sums up to around $1322 and $1521 respectively.
On the specs side the Apple iPhone X comes equipped with a 5.8 inch display. That support a resolution of 1125 x 2436. There is also the new Apple A11 Bionic chip running inside, that consist a total of six cores. Which is coupled with 3GB of RAM and up to 512GB of on board storage. Users would also find a pair of dual 12MP OIS cameras on the back. While at the front a 7MP selfie camera is present.
Considering what the prices are on the new Apple iPhone X around the world. The best option is to get it from US when it’s available this November. But then again is it really worth it?
