SpaceX has finally put an end to the secretive mystery and has completed the investigation on the accident in Cape Canaveral Launchpad where rockets were exploded few months ago. SpaceX haven`t conducted the investigation by its own but with the collaboration of the federal safety and space agencies such as NASA and FAA. The team of investigation reviewed all of the recorded data and material and began testing at SpaceX’s Hawthorne, McGregor, TX facilities and CA.
On January 8th, SpaceX is targeting to launch, getting back in the market to compete.
An abridge version of the investigation findings that team gathered is enough to interpret the core reason behind the explosion of the Falcon 9 rocket in September during the pre-launch fueling. On the basis of facts the team concluded that there was a failure of pressure vessel that is found inside a tank normally that stores the liquid oxygen in order to help the second part of the rocket’s fuel burning. The main issue was that the built up of oxygen in between the over-wrap of the vessel, as helium was loaded the intensity of the problem increased and the helium turned up the oxygen from liquid to solid and caused a major drawback. Inflexible SpaceX is to ensure that quick fixes this problem in both the short and long term and they surely be able to make their fueling process a lot safer than before.
Now that the end of investigation is on and SpaceX is applying short term fixes to elaborate the problem. They are hoping to launch another of their rocket into space on 8th of January. The client launch this time will be the iridium satellites. SpaceX will be having the use of Falcon 9 rocket in order to deliver 10 Iridium satellite into the orbit. Into the rocket the satellite is already been mounted and good to go.
Given that the launch of SpaceX should be on time and does everything sound and safe as they will be back on their feet soon. They also have a very good recovery period of 3 months which could be great to boost the confidence in the company and throughout.
