We had enough of the Core i7-8700K news so it’s time to move on as Intel has announced its upcoming additions to the Coffee Lake-S SKUs’ list. According to Intel, two of the new processors will be unveiled by the next month named as:
- Intel Core i3-8300
- Intel Core i5-8500
As covered earlier, the B360/H370 and H310 motherboards were to be out by this year as they will play an important factor in choosing AMD platform instead of Intel’s. Why? Due to the compatibility and easy availability of Ryzen processors. The Coffee Lake users one the other hand will have to stick to the Z370 chipset. But things had to change and here’s the new deal!
The new processors will be available from a starting price of 51 and will go up to 264 USD. Here are some of the new revamped processors from Intel’s warehouse:
Pentium G5000 series: Dual-core and quad-thread CPUs with base clock varying from 3.7 GHz to 3.9 GHz and 4MB of cache.
Celeron G4920 and G4900: Dual-core and dual-thread CPUs listed with 2MB cache.
Core i5-8600 non-K: Reasonable price (Lesser than that of the overclockable version)
