The Intel’s New Compute Card can fit in your wallet .
Inter revealed the new slim compute card at earlier this month at Consumer Electronics Show . The new introduce Card device is a step toward new design development , configuration , maintenance, and repair upgrade for many devices .
The new Intel slim Compute Card measure only 94.5 x 55 x 5mm which is the size of a Credit card and its include all the feature which are require for computing process, like CPU, Storage ,RAM, communications and I/O. that cover every thing . The Slim Design also make the Compute Card portable and that can help in the upgradation of Smart device and the replacement for Compute stick that are large in size .
Computing is so obvious nowadays that almost every hardware has a microprocessor inside it. These device chip are designed to perform for long time and work for years . The chip inside them get outdated, which make it impossible to upgrade their feature and functions like new security capabilities, speed up processing, etc .Without replacing the whole device Compute Card is an ideal solution for the upgrade of Smart devices like television whose internal hardware come with complicated architectures design without upgrade path .The chip is the solution of slow processing as well simple plugin upgrade .
Although there is no clear details mention by Intel yet but the Chip set is assumed to contain the CPU, GPU, RAM storage and Wi-Fi, Bluetooth inside ( Kaby Lake-based Core processors with vPro). With the thickness of 5mm, its connectivity will come through a USB-C variant (USB-C , USB-C plus Extension) .
The connector also support access to the USB and PCIe buses as well as the HDMI and Display Port video outputs.
Intel said it will release the more information about availability and pricing later this year .The first cards are set to be introduced in mid-2017. Inter is partner and working with Dell, HP, Lenovo , Sharp ,InFocus, DTx, TabletKiosk and Pasuntech everyone set to announce and create Compute Cards ecosystem.
