Hyundai is a big name in automotive industries as we have seen some major hits from them. They have now planned to start a joint venture with one of its subsidiaries, Kia for the purpose of manufacturing economically friendly cars. Hyundai has plans to start the production of almost 38 green cars within the next eight years.
The Green Cars
Hyundai has already planned seven different models for the next five years in its green cars lineup. Most of these green cars will be electrically powered, so a large amount of energy is being conserved by them. The green cars’ concept is not new in fact, VW has plans to build electric versions of all of its models by 2020. Also, GM will be hitting the market with its battery-powered versions for 20 of their cars by the year 2020.
Even Hyundai claims to be an old player in this green technology game as they’ve been working for more than a decade to launch the green cars. Also, the green cars’ startup which was initiated at the start of this year has given the company, up to 186,000 deals.
