Huawei recently teased us with a video of its upcoming smartphone known as the Mate 10. Which will comes with a dual camera setup, just like its other flagship devices. Aside from that the upcoming Huawei Mate 10 will also be running on the latest Kirin 970 SOC that Huawei also just announced. Which is built with a new 10nm manufacturing process and will be able to deliver up to 20 % more performance compared to its predecessor. Where the Kirin 970 being an octa core chip, comes equipped with four Cortex A73 cores. While the other four cores are based on Cortex A53 architecture.
If that wasn’t exciting enough well some pictures of the upcoming Huawei Mate 10 were also leaked on the internet. While the smartphone itself is set to launch on 16th of October. Which according to rumors will include a 5.9 inch display. That might support a Quad HD resolution or maybe a lower Full HD resolution. Other specs include a finger print scanner embedded into the home button, USB Type-C, 6GB RAM and 64 GB of on board storage.
Huawei have come a long way since it went global. While the smartphone manufacturer certainly does hold a place in the market, with their current offerings. Which also includes their flagship Huawei P10 smartphone. That comes equipped with a dual camera setup as well. Where one camera is the main shooter, while the other is used to take monochrome pictures. A combination that we might also find on the upcoming Huawei Mate 10 as well.
The upcoming Huawei Mate 10 sure looks like a promising smartphone. Which will be the next flagship smartphone from Huawei that comes with a large display. Though it would be nice if Huawei also comes up with an edge to edge display for their Mate 10. Because then it wouldn’t be so hard to handle the rumored 5.9 inch display like many other on the market.
