Among many smartphone manufactures, Chinese brands seems to be most frequent with launch events. Same is the case with Huawei where the company announced a new smartphone named Nova 2i. The Huawei Nova 2i unlike its other two variants looks entirely different and come with a FullView display. In case you were wondering the Huawei Nova 2i is basically an international version of the Maimang 6.
In terms of specs the Huawei Nova 2i comes equipped with a FullVision display. That support the new 18:9 aspect ratio and support a resolution of 2160 x 1080. Though we are not sure what screen size display is being used on the smartphone. There is also the Kirin 659 octa core chipset running under the hood. That is coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of on board storage.
Other specs on the Huawei Nova 2i includes four separate cameras. Where on the back of the smartphone there is a dual camera setup, carrying a 16MP+2MP combo. While at the front of the smartphone there is also a dual camera setup, carrying a 13MP+2MP combo. Carrying the new FullVision display the bezels on the new Huawei Nova 2i are almost minuscule. Which makes the smartphone look very different and attractive compared to its predecessors.
Being a mid-ranged smartphone the Huawei Nova 2i does not skip on features as well. Where the smartphones also comes with a fingerprint scanner placed on the back of the smartphone. While to power it all up there is also a 3340mAh battery inside.
There is no news on when the smartphone will be available for sale yet. But do expect it to be priced in the sub $400 price range. Huawei is also waiting on launching its next smartphone soon named Mate 10, which is set to launch on the 16 of October. And will be running Huawei first AI based Kirin 970 chipset.
