Matebook X 740x367 Huawei Matebook X to be rolled out in the coming spring season Check out the specifications of this bezel less touchscreen laptop

Just like the smartphone manufacturers, Huawei has decided to roll out its Matebook X with a screen having almost 0 bezels. What’s more interesting is that the laptop sports a built-in camera on the keyboard.

Besides the 91% screen ratio, the 13.9 inches screen size at a 3,000 x 2,000 resolution looks extremely crispy. The interactive touchscreen panel on the front goes perfectly with the extremely thin chassis with near to 0 bezels.

The camera placement on the keyboard may look a bit awkward but unfortunately, the thin bezel design of the screen couldn’t let the camera to be embedded on the screen.

Hardware Specifications

Here are some of the interesting specifications of the laptop that we have gathered:

  • Intel Kaby Lake-R Core i5 or i7 8th-gen
  • Discreet NVIDIA GeForce MX150
  • Two Type-C USB ports with one Type-A USB port and a Thunderbolt 3 port
  • A whopping 14-hours battery life

The Huawei Matebook X weighs 1.33kg and is available in two colors, Space Gray and Mystic Silver. We’ll have to wait till spring for the machine to arrive. No pricing details have been announced for Huawei Matebook X.
