Budget phones with the new 2:1 aspect ratio are finally seeing the light of day. As Huawei just announced its new Android phone the Honor 9 Lite. The phone will be also be available outside Asia including France, Spain, Germany, Italy and UK.
When it comes to the design of the Huawei Honor 9 Lite. The phone is made from a combination of glass and metal frame. That also comes with a gesture based finger print scanner at the back. There is also a 5.65 inch Full View display on board. That support a resolution of 1080 x 2160 on a bezel-less panel.
Other specs on the Huawei Honor 9 Lite includes the Kirin 659 chipset. The Kirin 659 is a 16nm octa core chip that is clocked at 2.36 GHz on all cores. Aside from that the phone also comes equipped with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of expandable on board storage via micro-SD card slot.
One of the best features about the Huawei Honor 9 Lite is its quad camera setup. Where the phone comes equipped with a set of 13MP + 2MP cameras on the back. Same goes for the front of the phone as well. That allows users to take portrait mode selfie with hardware generated bokeh effect.
Users who are interested can get their hands on the new Huawei Honor 9 Lite right now. The phone is also available in a wide range of colors including Sapphire Blue, Midnight black and Glacier Grey. Though only the Glacier Grey and Sapphire Blue version among the three comes with Huawei’s nano scale optical coating. The Huawei Honor 9 Lite comes with Android Oreo 8.0 running out of the box with EMUI 8.0 running on top.
