One of the hottest smartphone comparisons these days is the Huawei Honor 6X vs. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4.
Let’s discuss the features one by one:
Both smartphones are based on an aluminum unibody but the fit and finish are better on the Xiaomi smartphone because of the gentle curves along the sides. According to Xiaomi:
“The 2.5D curved glass has an aesthetic edge over typical flat glass. It looks better and feels a lot smoother when you tap and swipe your fingers across the screen.”
The Redmi phone seems to produce accurate colors. Even under direct sunlight, the Xiaomi screen does look legible thanks to Xiaomi’s Sunlight Display technology. In comparison, Honor does not have great viewing angles, and color reproduction is also not as impressive.
Honor 6X comes with:
- Hi-Silicon Kirin 655 octa-core processor of 1.7 GHz
- Mali-T830MP2 support
Redmi Note 4 has:
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC octa-core, clocking in at 2 GHz
- Adreno 506 GPU
Honor 6X sports a dual rear-camera with a 12 MP rear camera coupled with a 2 MP sensor, which acts as depth sensor while the Note 4 comes with 13 MP rear cameras and could fire decent photos.
With a larger battery capacity of 4,100 mAh, the Xiaomi smartphone lasts longer than the Honor 6X smartphones, which comes with a 3,100 mAh unit.
