Taiwanese mobile manufacturer company HTC to release 6 or 7 smartphone in 2017.

HTC President Chialin Chang speak on the event of  launching HTC U Ultra that the company will focus on quality rather than quantity .

According to Phandroid, the number of devices that HTC has released in previous years are as follows: 

2016: 15 Phones

 2015: 25 Phones 

2014: 34 Phones 

For reader information Samsung Electronic released more than 30 Mobile phones in 2016.

HTC is far behind in the competition of mobile market industry. The company has suffer some huge financial loss in 2016. The Taiwanese company report operating losses of NT$2 Billion ($63.3 million USD) and net losses after tax of NT$1.8 billion ($57 million USD) .

Chialin Chang claims that company will focus on its smartphones ”core features” to strive in the competition with other high quality brands.

Htc release 15 smart phone in last year and with the announcement of 6 or 7 smartphone in 2017 the number is almost decrease by half . HTC has already released two new smartphones The HTC U Ultra and U Play in 2017 which indicate that the company have to Launch 4 or 5 smartphone by the end of this year . With the focus on manufacturing fewer smartphones HTC will enhance the quality and performance of the product.

The HTC U Ultra and U Play reflect a improved and positive approach for the new year.With the release of these two U series smartphones, Chialin Chang said that the new smartphones will come with a new name.
