Click one the windows button and type and open File History .
in the new Pops up window click the “System Image Backup” button in the bottom left corner.
Now click and Create a system image on the left side of the menu.
Now you will have some option that where you would like to save your system image which are (hard disk, DVD, or network location) From the drop down menu select the storage location on a hard drive for your system image .
After clicking next Windows drive and boot sector will already be selected, so change that drive to external hard drive where you want to back up your data, select them here, then click “Next
