Though according to some earlier expectation the 2018 Nokia 6 smartphone was expected in the second half of January.
It wouldn’t be a surprise if the 2018 Nokia 6 is launched on the mentioned date. Because HMD Global does release Nokia phones in China before its global premiere. Which will be in the case of the upcoming 2018 Nokia 6 from HMD Global. So if everything was according to plan we should see a new Nokia phones at MWC this year in February.
In terms of specs the upcoming 2018 Nokia 6 is expected to come equipped with a 5.5 inch display. That will support a resolution of 1920 x 1080. Though it would be nice if Nokia also starting selling bezel-less phones in their mid-ranged smartphone series. Aside from that the 2018 Nokia 6 is also expected to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 or Snapdragon 660 SOC running inside. That will be coupled with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB or 64 GB of on board storage, with a 16 MP main camera. Where to power it all the smartphone is expected to come with a 3000mAh battery inside.
Aside from the 2018 Nokia 6, HMD Global is also expected to launch another flagship device aside from the Nokia 8. That would be known as the Nokia 9, a premium phone from Nokia that will be competing against phones like the Samsung Note 8 and iPhone X from Apple. Both of which offer extra features compared to what their flagship models offers known as the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Apple iPhone 8.
