The day is finally here, as we are quite confirmed about Nvidia launching their new Nvidia Pascal GTX 1080Ti tomorrow. If you don’t know, the new Pascal card from Nvidia should be available in the market just after a few weeks of its launch. Looks like Nvidia is gearing up to capture the market with their new ‘’Ti’’ card.
Maybe the green team is doing this in order to be the first one to have the attention of the market. As AMD is also gearing up to launch their VEGA GPU in the second quarter of this year. This gives Nvidia a lot of time to market their upcoming GTX 1080Ti in the meantime. Which might give Nvidia an upper hand.
So what do we know about the specs of the upcoming GTX 1080TI for now. Well according to rumors, GTX 1080Ti would have:
- Process – 16nm
- Transistors – 12 Billion
- Memory – 10GB GDDR5X
- Memory Speed – 10Gbps
- Memory Interface – 384-bit
- Memory Bandwidth – 480GB/s
- CUDA Cores – 3328
- Base Clock – 1508MHz
- Boost Clock – 1623MHz
- Compute – 10.8 TFLOPS
- TDP – 250W
As you can see compared to Pascal Titan XP, the specs are little bit on the low side. But we are sure that as always, it will have the performance of its Titan brother and would achieve 60 FPS at 4k resolution. Depending on the game and settings.
There is a new rumor surrounding the internet as well. Where it is said that Nvidia would also launch their GTX 1060Ti along with the upcoming GTX 1080Ti. What we know till now is that the GTX 1060Ti would have the same GPU present on the GTX 1070, but a cut down version of it. With the same 6GB VRAM.
Let’s see what happens today at GDC 2017. As we are anxiously waiting for the launch of these two new cards and will update you as soon as the news hits us.
