At Annual developers conference Google I/O 2017, the giant search made bunches of announcements, revealing about the company’s upcoming products and services and also about updating old versions. On I/O 2017 before revealing the keynote the company’s chief executive Sunder Pichai revealed the number of active users of their products.

Sunder said that their product Android system is the world biggest smartphone operating system covering more than 2 billion monthly active devices. On the other side Apple iOS stand secondly after it, In 2015 about one and a half year back Apple announced to have 1 billion active users on iOS operating system.

On 17 May Google tweeted;

Thanks to developers and our partners around the world, there are now more than 2 billion monthly active Android devices.

Moving forward Sunder Pichai further said that the Company now covers billions of daily users on Google Search, Chrome browser, youtube, Gmail etc. on Youtube users watch more than a billion hours videos on daily basis, likewise Google map operate billion times by users to navigate locations on more than a billion kilometers.

As these both apps are already getting billion marks, as same other Google’s apps like Google drive etc are also growing their user numbers on daily base. Google photo management app covers 500 million monthly active users and Google drive is now covering more than 800 million monthly active users. In fact the giant search is growing in its every chosen task.
