Windows users who are running the Windows 32- bit Chrome will automatically shifted to windows 64- bit version. The giant company announced the plan that the company is going to work on auto shifting of giant search engine in its new update of Chrome 58.0.3029.96 to Windows, Mac and Linux. On its Blog post the giant search engine mentioned it to roll out in some couple days or weeks.
The auto shifting is applicable in the sense if auto update is being enabled by the users. On asking that can users be drop back if he/she wished to come back and wants to use 32- bit version of Chrome again. The giant company said that it will be available at Google Chrome download page.
The reason of auto migration according to the blog post is to enhance stability, performance and security of the users as well as of the giant software. The post further described that the users who are using 32- bit version Chrome or 64- bit Windows with 4GB of RAM will be automatically upgraded to 64-Bit version of chrome in the new version, only if auto update is enabled.
According to NetMarketShare, Chrome is only the search engine which gained more than 1 billion users recently in the month of April, the giant search engine boasted nearly 59 percent share globally, Reported by ZDNet. On the other hand Internet explorer stays at second in the race with 18 percent share globally. Firefox 11.8 percent, Microsoft Edge 5.6 percent and Safari with only 3.4 percent, respectively.
