Finally, Google launched the most awaited feature Assistant to Android TV. We have been hearing the rumors and sayings of the Google Assistant support for Android TV. Earlier in this year, the company announced the partnering with Chromecast services with the support of Google Home. They worked collectively to set features and now we have Nvidia’s SHIELD TV that is being launched from today.
The combination of the features of the both tech giant works for the user goes a level up to its user, it will be the fine interaction, the user give commands the remote of the TV by just saying Okay Google, and that shift functions to the TV. Sony is also working on Bravia that is expected to release in upcoming months. The user can play the contents on TV by any of the supporting services.
The company claims it also works for the users to inform the highlights of their favorite sports, open apps and control your smart home system, view pictures and weather, and control the media playback and many other functions. Once again we should be thankful to Artificial intelligence and the company to setting better user interface for the users. According to the report,
Google says that SHIELD TV owners will be able to get in on the Experience 6.0 upgrade starting today. Setup involves using the Nvidia button on the controller or the mic key on the remote to get started — the former supports hands-free Assistant activation (which can be toggled on or off), while the remote requires you to press the mic button. Since this is a pretty big deal for Nvidia and Google, the latter is offering users a free 3-month trial subscription to YouTube Red.
