Firefox Focus is now finally available for Android users, the app support for the custom tab

Firefox Focus

Last year Firefox Focus the web browser for iPhone and iPad was introduced, and now the company is rolling out the version for Android users. The Focus web browser is fast, simple and secure your web information.

The Firefox Focus app for Android phones and iPhone allows you to avoid annoying ads on the web browser. The app is fully free of any visual clutter or ads when you are searching on the browser. You cannot see the unwanted ads and the app is designed for the users spending on the web.

According to the Soft pedia report, Mozilla said:

“Firefox Focus allows you to browse the web without being followed by tracking ads which are notoriously known for slowing down your mobile experience. Why do we block these ad trackers? Because they not only track your behavior without your knowledge, they also slow down the web on your mobile device.”

New Features for Android

Firefox Focus claims that the following features are added for the Android version.

  • Ad tracker counter – For the curious, there’s a counter to list the number of ads that are blocked per site while using the app.
  • Disable tracker blocker – For sites that are not loading correctly, you can disable the tracker blocker to quickly take care of it and get back to where you’ve left off.
  • Notification reminder – When Focus is running in the background, we’ll remind you through a notification and you can easily tap to erase your browsing history.

Moreover, the Mozilla says that Firefox Focus is just not only for the iPhone, iPad and for the android versions, but the company added the support for the custom tabs. That allows a user to block any ad and disable the functionality. User can customize the tabs to improve the performance. The developers of the website are working on the app to improve the performance, hence, the company promises to add new features and updates.
