Hold on, the CES 2018 talk isn’t over yet. How can the big names like Facebook be left behind? The Oculus game is getting stronger day by day and on the CES event, during Qualcomm’s CES 2018 press conference, Facebook threw some light on the new Oculus Go. Oculus Go will work as a standalone VR headset powered by the Snapdragon 821 processor. The build responsibility has been given to the smartphone manufacturer, Xiaomi.
The Collaborative Machine
It wouldn’t be wrong to give this title to Oculus Go as we have seen so many of these big names involved in the preparation of it. Xiaomi seems to have become Oculus’ mainstream hardware partner and especially for the Oculus Go VR headset.
Xiaomi’s future plans include rolling out the all-new Mi VR Standalone headset which would be Xiaomi’s very own production. Alas, it would only be released for the Chinese market. The interesting thing here for the Chinese people is that it would pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821.
We still don’t have any idea about the availability and pricing of Oculus Go.
