Facebook announced the new project “Journalism Project” in a way to “establish stronger ties between Facebook and the news industry.”
The theme of the project cover areas like: developing new products, offering new training and tools for journalists, and providing new tools to aware the public about the real and fake news.
“We will be collaborating with news organisations to develop products, learning from journalists about ways we can be a better partner, and working with publishers and educators on how we can equip people with the knowledge they need to be informed readers in the digital age,” shared by facebook.
In its post, Facebook said it was hoping to maintain developing membership models in news-casting, offer enhanced promotion of local news, and encourage diverse narrating techniques on its stage. The organization likewise said it would offer preparing to writers on its different stages, for example, analytics tool CrowdTangle and Facebook Live.
