We all are well aware of the standalone platform of the Android Wear 2.0, which was released in February, this year. The platform provided direct access to the compatible watches for downloading apps from the Google Play Store. We are advancing to the era of smartwatches and many of the smartwatches are in the pipeline to receive the Android Wear 2.0 update very soon. But ASUS users will have to wait a bit as ASUS has decided to launch the update in their ZenWatch 2 and 3 after Q2, this year.
The due update in the ZenWatch 2 and 3 was long awaited but ASUS decided to add up some more time for the launching the update.
It was the ASUS North America’s Twitter Account which, while responding to one of the customers of ZenWatch, made it clear that it would not be possible to launch the Android Wear 2.0 for its ZenWatch 2 and 3 till early Q2.
About The Android Wear 2.0
Android Wear 2.0 was also lacking the feature of languages other than German and English in their Google Assistant. But now, it is also been promised by the Google that other languages will also be added as soon as possible. Also, Android Pay Integration will be the part of this update. Moreover, you will be able to customize the watch faces in a better way according to your own choice. Google Fit improvements and user interface tweaks are also the part of this update. So, it’s a very pleasing to the eye and better to use update which every smartwatch user will like to have in his/her smartwatch as early as possible.
Smartwatches That are Getting It
As long as other smartwatches are concerned, a list has been issued by Google which tells us the names of the smartwatches that are getting this update and they have also included ZenWatch 2 and 3 in the list but ZenWatch users will not be getting the latest update soon.
