As promised earlier, Intel is reviving the Pentium series in 5th generation. However, the Z390 and 8 Core Coffee Lake CPUs are still nowhere to be seen.
According to some credible sources, the upcoming Coffee Lake-S series will have two variants:

  • 4+2 (quad-core + GT2 graphics) with a die size of 126mm2
  • 6+2 (hexacore + GT2 graphics) with a die size of 149mm2

As the time passes, Intel will be seen in a full blow to release more and more Coffee Lake SKUs with lower TDPs and low power draw SKUs.
