According to the NPD Group’s sales data for the month of November, Call of Duty: WWII and PS4 dominated all the way. Due to the upcoming holiday season, a large number of gaming freaks went out for buying their favorite games and a whopping $2.68 billion was spent on video games during the month. This figure accounts for almost a 30 percent increase in sales revenue, as compared to that of last year.

Microsoft released the $500 Xbox One X, just at the right time because November has been proven the best month for it. It ousted Sony’s PS4 with a great margin. Speaking of the overall hardware sales, a figure of $1.15 billion which accounts for an increase of 52 percent as compared to the last year, was recorded.
