Which now offers Wi-Fi support.

The new variant of the Asus ROG Crosshair VI Hero motherboard now includes 2×2 802.11ac Wi-Fi support. Where the new variant now comes with a re-branded name and is now called Asus ROG Crosshair VI Hero Wi-Fi AC. Aside from that the motherboard also has supports for MU-MIMO. Which basically means that the Wi-Fi module on the motherboard. Can connect and communicate with other devices that also have support for MU-MIMO.

Most of the motherboards present on the market with Wi-Fi only comes with a standard SU-MIMO support. Which works just fine like the new MU-MIMO standard found on the Asus ROG Crosshair VI Hero Wi-Fi AC motherboard. But where the new MU-MIMO standard shines is on crowded networks. Where users would still get better buffering speeds compared to SU-MIMO standard.

Aside from this new addition the new Asus ROG Crosshair VI Hero Wi-Fi AC is basically the same motherboard. Where the motherboard is equipped with four DIMM slots, with support for up to 64GB of DDR4 RAM. At a max rated speed of 3200MHz when used in XMP mode, if the RAM supports it. The motherboard also comes with three PCI-E 3.0 X16 slots, two of which are reinforced. With a total of three PCIE-E 2.0 slots also available.

Being a high end motherboard the Asus ROG Crosshair VI Hero Wi-Fi AC, also comes with a M.2 socket.  While in terms of ports the motherboard supports two USB 3.1 ports, eight USB 3.0 ports and four USB 2.0 ports. Where if needed the motherboard also comes with a BIOS Flashback and Clear CMOS button.

There is still no news on the availability of the new Asus ROG Crosshair VI Hero Wi-Fi AC motherboard. But the normal version of the motherboard is currently being sold at a price of $255.
