Apple’s CEO Tim Cook has voiced his opinion on the official request declared by the Trump organization, which suspends individuals from seven nations from U.S. visas for 90 days. In an email to Apple workers, Cook shared his perspectives on the issue and communicated the concerns shared by many of the organization’s workers who are immigrants. Cook affirmed the significance of immigrants and shared that without them, Apple would not have the capacity to function.

“In my discussions with authorities here in Washington this week, I’ve made it clear that Apple believes deeply in the significance of immigration – both to our organization and to our country’s future. Apple would not exist without immigration, not to mention flourish and innovate the way we do,” expressed the Apple CEO.

The Declaration

Cook uncovered that he shared the concerns and did not support the new procedure. Many Apple workers he noted were “directly affected” by the immigration movement from the Trump organization. But, the organization’s security, HR and legal groups were working diligently and were in contact with these workers to offer them help.

The CEO affirmed that the Cupertino-based organization would do whatever was in its power to support its affected workers. In this exertion, the organization is putting forth those affected by the immigration plan resources on the AppleWeb to help workers who have any concerns or questions on the immigration policies.

He stressed that the diversity is the thing that makes Apple’s operations more powerful. He included that the employees at Apple were compassionate and would support each other in times of need.

He emphasized that Apple was open to all and did not discriminate. It didn’t make a difference to the organization what language a person spoke or what their origins were, what religion they followed or practiced. Cook went ahead to state that Apple’s workers are thought to be among the most skilled across the globe. The ethnic differences is the thing that makes the organization tick and many individuals who are working right now for the iPhone creator originate from various countries.
