BOE Technolgy could be next AMOLED supplier for Apple:

According to latest reports, Apple has been testing BOE’s AMOLED panel, which previously has been manufactured by Samsung for Apple. The tests have been conducting for a month as the company is interested in growing supplier list. BOE has been working very hard on the establishment of plants of AMOLED, it estimated that it has invested a huge amount of $14.5 billion in the US on AMOLED plats. BOE is also interested in display its name in Apple’s component suppliers.

On the other hand, Apple is also interested in making deal with OLED supply with BOE  for the 2018 iPhone lineup. The BOE is Apple supplier list is obviously beneficial for Chinese supplier and China in the generation of revenue and expansion of business. But it is also equally beneficial for Apple as the company may be able to get cheaper products. Apple is going to be a tech giant as well as able price negotiation with Samsung and BOE. Actually, BOE is one of the largest OLED manufacturers of China. The addition to Apple supplier may create a trouble for Samsung and force it t decrease price.

The display screen is one of the most expensive components of the smartphone. If Apple would be able to make deal with cheap AMOLED producer it will possible be able to increase profit. It could also be possible that the consumer would pay more to buy an iPhone next year.

The S-series branding in 2019 may ditch by Samsung.
