The Korean tech giants seem to be responding well enough regarding the defects in their hardware. One of the latest issues that the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus owners faced was the ‘Red Tint‘ issue which the company has started to fix now. The first batch of the lucky ones belongs to the U.K. region as reports suggest that the U.K. based Galaxy S8 and S8 plus users have started to receive an update regarding the issue. The ‘Over-The-Air’ update was released recently which has fixed the red tint issues in most of the devices in the said region.

What Is The Red Tint Issue?

The Red Tint issue was reported when the users of the latest flagships faced this problem of their screens going red towards a warm complexion. This became a headache for those who bought the expensive piece of technology and in return, they were treated by an issue like this. The company has responded well in this regard as U.K based consumers seem to be getting their problem fixed. Hopefully, other regions of the world will receive the OTA update soon.

Similar Kind Of Updates

This recent full fledge OTA update by Samsung is almost 426 MB in size but Samsung has released other lighter versions of the update previously to help their clients get rid of the issue on a temporary basis. According to reports, U.S. based owners also received a similar kind of update which amounted to 142 MBs of size and provided a color adjustment tweak. This was actually an Adaptive Display screen mode settings menu which allowed users to roll the slider according to the ease and comfort of their eyes. To adjust the colors of the screen panel, “Screen Edge Color Balance” was also added.
