Does 7nm sound futuristic to you? Well, it isn’t anymore. The Vega 10 die shrink, more commonly known as Vega 20, has reached AMD labs for evaluation. Dubbed as “AMD Vega 7nm,” the chip was long in discussion over so many forums and most of the people even weren’t satisfied with its need but finally, it has reached AMD labs!

Apparently, the chip will be PCIe Gen4 supported but we must take it with a pinch of a salt.

The best possible outcome of the die shrink is that the clock speed and power efficiency is definitely going to increase. The fact that some of the rumors still need confirmation exists because AMD still needs to see whether the chip is needed or not!
