Amazon has added the new feature to its site. This week it has now updated silently its Alexa assistant to add calendar support in Amazon. The digital assistant has already being supported to Google calendars since the time of its launch but the support was missing before until this week. we can work on Alexa assistant to add or review all our upcoming future events in a google calendar using some commands for example “what’s on my calendar?” or “add an event to my calendar.” This will help us to keep a track on our memory so we can avoid missing and forget things.

Another amazing work done on this feature by Amazon is that we don’t have to update or change any Alexa-powered devices as the company has already added the assistant in the background of software. We can easily add calendars from the Alexa app for iOS for Apple phones or Android for other smartphones or on the web by going to the setting then calendar.

Supported Calendars for Amazon are:

  • Google Calendar
  • Microsoft Calendar – we can also join our personal calendar accounts, from any site like,,, and But corporate accounts are not compatible.

Events wich you link to Alexa can be shown to anyone who uses your device.Only use drop down menu from the Google to select calendar. To Link account use following steps:

  1. Open the Alexa app.
  2. Open the left navigation panel.
  3. Select Settings > Calendar.
  4. Select your calendar.
  5. Select Link calendar account.
  6. Sign in with your calendar accounts email address and password.
