If you are familiar with the design of the smaller 13 inch Aleinware laptop. Then the new Aleinware 15 wouldn’t surprise you with anything new. Where the laptop stills follows the modern gaming design with a yet simplistic look. That shouldn’t embarrass any professional user with its aesthetics.

When it comes to Alienware their laptops are built like a tank and are made to last. Same is the case with the new Aleinware 15. The whole chassis of the laptop is made out of magnesium alloy. The laptop also comes with its own AleinFX LED lighting system. With the help of which users can configuring lighting effects on their keyboard, trackpad and as well as the sides of the laptop. Users also have a choice to select among 19 difference colors.

The fully-fledged keyboard on the Alienware 15 is the best thing about the laptop. Where the keyboard is spacious with a good key travel. Aside from that every key on the keyboard has this tactile feel to it, which should make it best for both worlds. The trackpad on the Alienware 15 is not and exception either. While the laptop is equipped with a smooth surface, which provides smooth tracking and an excellent multi gesture control overall.

In terms of specs the Alienware 15 comes in two variants depending on the display resolution. Users can opt for a 4K IGZO IPS display if needed. But for those of you who are into esports gaming, the Alienware 15 also comes with a 1080P display. That supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Aside from that the laptop also comes equipped with a 7th Gen Intel Core i7 7700HQ processor, clocked in at 2.8GHz. That is coupled with 16GB of RAM and a fully-fledged NVIDIA Pascal GTX 1070 GPU.

The Alienware 15 is a great laptop for users who like to have a big display on their laptop. But compared to other 15 inch laptops on the market. The Alienware 15 is not nearly as compact as you would hope. Thus it’s not easy to fit it into a bag, keeping in mind that the laptop does not weigh less either. Though if you are someone who wants to go for a cheaper and much lighter version. Then we would recommend going for the Aleinware 13 with a GTX 1060 inside.
