AMD seems to be rolling out newer technologies every day and one of them is the Radeon Software 17.7.2 which is basically the latest display driver by the company. It contains many improvements in the display area as it lowers down the tearing effect and helps gamers have a better view.
Competition for Nvidia
The update in the Radeon’s driver has got so much to mention but the most important thing to be noted here is the Enhanced Sync technology. This is basically an affordable replacement to the VSync technology. It removes the latency issue that is caused by synchronization with the display.
Among other improvements, AMD has decided to enable frame limiting tool, Radeon Chill for the following:
- Mobile graphics cards
- Multi-GPU configurations
- External graphics cards
This will help in maintaining the power consumption and heat of the chip.
Relive at 100 Mb/s
The all-new feature helps you save the recordings at a higher bitrate. The limit set by the company for recording is up to 100 Mb/s. Moreover, it allows you to add a webcam to the stream. You can also adjust the volume of the microphone from within the Radeon panel.
