At Acer global press event on 27th of April. The company announced a lot of new hardware. Where we also saw refreshed and updated versions of Acer Swift laptop. Which now includes two new laptops, the Acer Swift 1 and Swift 3. If you don’t know Acer Swift lineup is known for their lightweight constriction and do fall in the line of Ultrabooks.
Both the above mentioned Swift laptops do come with a finger print scanner. With the help of which users would be able to use Windows 10 Hello feature now. Aside from that the displays on both the Swift laptops also come with BluelightShield coating. Which is known to reduce blue light emission, that can put a lot of strain on the eyes of its users.
Acer Swift 1:
The Acer Swift 1 is more of a budget oriented laptop. Where the laptop will be available in three different colors. Including Luxury Gold, Pure Silver and Sakura Pink with a metal body. While the laptop is also equipped with a 13.3 inch display and a FHD resolution support.
Aside from that the laptop also comes with an Intel Celeron or Pentium processor running under the hood. With 4 GB RAM and 64 GB, 128 GB or 256 GB SSD storage.
Acer Swift 3:
The Acer Swift 3 on the other hand comes with a more refined look. Where the laptop uses a brushed aluminum body. That is equipped with a 15.6 inch display with FHD resolution support. Aside from that the laptop also has 7th gen Intel Core processor running under the hood. Coupled with NVIDIA graphics and 8 GB RAM.
Acer Swift 3 also comes in two options. Where its user can either choose either a SSD or HDD for storage. With a storage limit of 512 GB for SSD. While the HDD option can be more spacious up to 1 TB of storage.
Acer Swift 1 will be available in the market starting June, with a price tag of $329. While the Acer Swift 3 will be available in the same month with a price tag of $599.
