Before the leak of Snapdragon 835 Qualcomm by accident revealed another product that might be going to take the center stage during the event of CES 2017 trade show and ASUS is the owner, a known brand in the market to manufacture highly powerful and impressively designed Android handsets. Both of the companies plan to showcase the upcoming product which is ZenFone AR, it’s like Lenovo counterpart, a Tango-enabled device, what’s special about it? Well, in 2017, at CES, Qualcomm plans Snapdragon 835 to be showcased, it also intends to reveal another Tango-enabled smartphone, but now it is ASUS time, named after ZenFone AR.
First Tango is said to be by ASUS ZenFone AR – At CES 2017, Demonstration to be Given – Enabled to tout a Snapdragon 821
If you take a look at the image above, it is been dated for January 4, 2017 with details being provided for the upcoming device.
“At CES 2017, ASUS announced the ZenFone AR, the world’s first Tango-enabled smartphone to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor. It will also be the world’s first mobile device to be both Tango-enabled and Daydream-ready. Tango is a set of sensors and computer vision software that supports smartphone augmented reality experiences. Daydream is Google’s platform for high quality, mobile virtual reality.”
Well we are not sure of the blog post to be taken down or not, but the Tango-enabled device purpose would be to allow the Snapdragon-powered smartphones to keep possession of more battery life and showcase better battery life while providing and creating creative applications 3D related. We are not sure why Snapdragon 835 is not being supported by ASUS ZenFone, it may rather yield in better efficiency and performance, there is a leak that the Taiwanese manufacturer is going to prepare a flagship handset and going to deliver at the same event named as Zenfone 4.
