LG has taken the competition in the race to make best smartphones to a whole new level with the launch of its V series. The first and most famous phone of the series, till date, is the LG V10.

The flagship device showed last year, when its competitor and one of the leading android smartphones producer, “Samsung” was roaring loud with the Galaxy Note 5. This amazing phone by Samsung had captured the hearts of many as the beautiful sleek design of the phone was tempting and very hard to resist. It looked so smooth and gave a number of professional as well as stylish features though we all missed the S-pen in the device.

Talking about the comparison, both phones carry a number of such features that are discussion worthy and LG is giving some real tough time to its rival as it has added features in V10 which used to be the distinction in Samsung Galaxy Note 5. Let’s compare the major features of both the phones side by side.

Hardware

LG V10 has got a Hexa-core processor of 1800 MHz, ARM Cortex-A57 and ARM Cortex-A53, 64-bit with the Adreno 418 GPU, while Samsung has Octa-core, 2100 MHz, ARM Cortex-A57 and ARM Cortex-A53, 64-bit with ARM Mali-T760 MP8 GPU. Both phones have an internal storage capacity of 64 GB while LG gives an additional option of microSD card support up to 2000 GB!

Camera

Both devices carry a primary camera of 16 MP while LG has this dual LED flash with it. Aperture size in LG is f1.8 while Samsung has f1.9. Cameras of both the devices have Optical image stabilization, Autofocus while Samsung has CMOS image sensor and Back-illuminated sensor (BSI) additionally. The video recording dimensions in LG are 3840×2160 (4K), 1920×1080 (1080p HD), 1280×720 (720p HD) (120 fps) and Samsung has 3840×2160 (4K) (30 fps), 2560×1440 (QHD), 1920×1080 (1080p HD) (60 fps), 1280×720 (720p HD), 640×480 (VGA). Both devices have a front facing camera of 5 MP.

Display

Samsung is using Super AMOLED screens since a long time while LG has stuck to the IPS technology. Both the screens have Scratch-resistant glass (Corning Gorilla Glass 4), Light sensor and Proximity sensor. But the LG V10 has an additional display of 1040*160 pixels on the 2.1-inch screen.

Battery

Both the phones have an enormous battery of 3000 mAh which is enough to let you use your phone throughout the day without interrupting your work with those “Battery Low” notifications.
