Razer were originally known for their quality PC peripherals. Later on the company also made their mark in the gaming industry by launching a gaming Laptop. If you want something thin,  light and power then Razer Blade is something to consider. If you are willing to pay the premium that comes with it.

Razer just launched a refreshed version of their Razer Blade 14 which comes with Intel’s new 7th generation of processor as well as a 4K touch screen. When it comes to specs the Razer Blade 14 is equipped with a 14 inch display that supports of up to 3840x2160P or 4k resolution compared to the older model. As the older model supported a resolution of 3200x1800P which was still a gorgeous looking display but was not true 4k. Other than that the new Razer Blade 14 is equipped with an Intel i7 7700HQ processor with a boost clock of 3.8 GHz, 16GB of DDR4 RAM as well as NVMe storage, configurable by the user. As it’s a gaming laptop it’s also equipped with a desktop grade GTX 1060 with 6GB of VRAM, so running gaming and graphic intensive apps is not a problem for this laptop.

In ports the new Razer Blade 14 is equipped with 3 USB 3.0 connectors, 1 USB type C port which can be also used as thunderbolt and a microphone and headphone combo. The laptop has Razer’s custom build keyboard which is fully programmable and RGB lighting equipped.

If upgrading to the latest processor and 4k resolution was not enough for you, Razer is also cutting down on the price as the new Razer Blade 14 would be sold a $100 less than the older model. If you want something which offers good performance packed in a slim and light body with great build quality. Then Razer Blade is the one for you. The laptop does charge a high premium compared to its competitors but makes up for it in the quality of the product.
